Our calendar year starts in August with a two-day program, our 7th Annual NHSAA Collective Bargaining Retreat for Management. The 2016 Best Practices Conference on Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment in New Hampshire is second on our program in September. This year we are again co-sponsoring the Bradley F. Kidder Law Conference at the beginning of October in cooperation with the New Hampshire School Boards Association and the New Hampshire Council of School Attorneys. That will be followed by the Best Practices Conference on Student Behavioral Health at the end of the month. Closing out October and at the beginning of November, we have the two-day 2016 Best Practices Conference on School Operations, Finance and Business Leadership. In cooperation with the New Hampshire Society for Technology in Education, and in collaboration with the NH School Library Media Association, the 30th Annual Christa McAuliffe Technology Conference will be held at the Radisson Hotel in Manchester, NH, from November 29 to December 1, 2016. |
In 2017, our program will feature our traditional and timely best practices work session on Legislative Priorities (half-day) the morning of February 6. Our annual Personnel Leadership workshop will be held March 6, and our season will finish on March 27 with the second half-day Legislative Priorities update in the morning and a half-day on Harassment in the Workplace: What You Need to Know in the afternoon.
Members are encouraged to review the program schedule and determine how these programs can help you in continuing your important work on behalf of children. The Season Ticket option offers a significant savings to a school district by offering a reduced rate price for "a seat at each" of the individual professional development opportunities scheduled throughout the year.
NHSAA complies with the provisions of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) regulations. If you require special assistance in order to attend our conferences, please contact our office at 603-225-3230.
